Common questions

A few things people ask.

What does GoGoGallery do? +

GoGoGallery helps you clean up the photo library on your iPhone. You review photos one at a time with a calm swipe gesture, group up duplicates and similar shots, and decide what to keep before anything is deleted.

Do you upload my photos anywhere? +

No. Every analysis runs on your device using Apple’s on-device frameworks. That includes duplicate detection, screenshot grouping, and suggested cleanups. There is no server that stores or processes your images.

What happens to a photo when I swipe to delete? +

Swiping only marks the photo. You can review the full pile and undo anything before you confirm. After confirming, GoGoGallery uses the standard iOS delete flow, so photos stay in Photos › Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Will it work with Limited photo access? +

Yes. Full access is the smoothest experience. Limited access works too. You pick which photos you want GoGoGallery to see.
